We’re so excited to kick off Disability Book Week! This is a special time to highlight stories that promote inclusion, celebrate differences, and build empathy in kids of all ages.

Here’s how you can be involved:
Grab a Book: Visit this list of amazing children’s books and choose one (or a few!) to read with your children or students. These stories are filled with heart, inclusion, and powerful messages.
Spread the Word: Encourage others—friends, teachers, fellow parents—to join in. Sharing inclusive stories helps build a stronger, kinder community.
Watch for Opportunities: Keep an eye out—we’ll be sharing exciting ways you can get involved throughout the week!
Local Friends—Join Us in Madisonville!
If you’re local to East Tennessee, come celebrate with us! The Hazelnut Movement will be at the Madisonville Public Library this Thursday at 11am. We’ll be reading our inclusive Easter book Easter’s Miracle and doing a fun craft with the kids. We’d love to see you there!
Don’t Miss This Deal!
There’s just one day left to grab our Easter’s Miracle coloring book download for only $1! Perfect for classrooms, church groups, or a fun activity at home. Grab yours here.
Make sure to follow us on social media and tag us in your inclusive reads this week. We love seeing how these books are making an impact in your homes and classrooms!
Let’s make this Disability Book Week one to remember.
